About Me

A Compassionate Approach to Healing

I work with teens, adults, and couples who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, identity questions, and the ups and downs of major life transitions. I aim to create a warm, supportive space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and begin to make sense of what you're going through.

My approach is gentle, collaborative, and practical. I draw from CBT, solution-focused therapy, attachment-based therapy, strength-based work, and EFT—always tailoring sessions to what feels most helpful and comfortable for you.

With a multicultural background and experience supporting individuals who juggle family, cultural expectations, and personal goals, I understand how complex life can be. My goal is to help you build clarity, emotional balance, and confidence as you move toward feeling more grounded and connected in your life.

Getting Started

What to Expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Here's what the process looks like.

1

Free Consultation

We'll start with a free 15-minute phone call. This is a chance for you to ask questions, share what's bringing you to therapy, and see if we feel like a good fit. No pressure, just a conversation.

2

First Session

In your first session, we'll dive deeper into what's going on in your life and what you hope to get from therapy. I'll explain how we might work together and answer any questions you have.

3

Ongoing Support

We'll meet weekly or biweekly via secure video sessions from wherever you're comfortable. Sessions are 50 minutes, and together we'll work toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you.

About Telehealth

All sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video. You can join from anywhere in California using your phone, tablet, or computer. Many clients find telehealth just as effective as in-person therapy, with the added convenience of no commute.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How does online therapy work?

Sessions happen via secure, HIPAA-compliant video call. You can join from your phone, tablet, or computer from anywhere in California. I'll send you a link before each session, and you just click to join. It's as simple as a video call with a friend, but completely private and secure.

Is virtual therapy effective?

Research shows that online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most issues, including anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. Many clients appreciate the convenience and find it easier to open up from the comfort of their own space.

What insurance do you accept?

I accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, and Quest Behavioral Health. If you have a different insurance, I can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement. Feel free to reach out if you have questions about coverage.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like something isn't quite working in your life, therapy might help. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. The free 15-minute consultation is a great way to explore whether therapy feels right for you without any commitment.

What's your cancellation policy?

I ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Life happens, and I understand that sometimes things come up unexpectedly. We can discuss the specifics during our first session.
